BIOGRAPHY

​

Marc Brûlé was born in 1956 in Sorel, Quebec. Around the age of 4, he moved  in Montreal with his family. We can therefore consider him as a Montrealer by adoption.

​​

At a very young age, he was interested in  art :  poetry in particular. He publishes a first collection in French and Spanish on his own account  : NAIDA.

A second collective collection will follow.

 

Will meet again in 2021,  on this site, in a new section literature and poetry various writings over the years entitled from yesterday to today.  

 

Although his interest  for the arts has always been present, the premature death of his parents, in adolescence, led him to choose a completely different course of life and this, for several years.

 

Holder of a DEP in institutional cooking and a DEP in food management  restore it will work for longer  30 years in the field of catering and hotels to then move towards the community sector.

 

In 2006 he started his first lessons  paint to make a  dream, paint. Self-taught, he regularly practices painting and writing today, thus realizing his passion.  for these two artistic mediums.

He will follow training in visual art with Maurice D'Amour  from 2006 to 2019.  

In 2013, he will participate in the free workshops of the Atelier du geste  http://atelierdugeste.qc.ca/   where he devotes himself to acrylic painting and participates in a group exhibition.

​

His taste for the medium that is oil, will make him resume, in 2014, lessons with Svetla Velikova,  multidisciplinary painter as part of a mixed contemporary painting course.

Most of his paintings can be found today in private collections in Montreal, Estrie, Quebec, Chicoutimi and Abitibi.

​

He is currently part of a group of painters who have come together under the name Le  Group M ,   who exhibits every year in Montreal at La Galerie ESPACE.  

​

A collective project on Ville Saint-Laurent was in progress but the COVID 19 currently prevents its realization and its diffusion.

​​

Groupe M is preparing its next exhibition which will take place from December 15 to 22, 2021  at The Space Gallery,  www.galerie-espace.ca ,  to Montreal
